The resources and energy sector is a key contributor to Australia’s economic growth accounting for almost 10 per cent of GDP, more than half the country’s exports and the direct employment of a quarter of a million people.
However, mining and exploration is extremely capital intensive and attracting investment is often cited as one of the biggest challenges facing the sector, especially its junior explorers.
The Brisbane Mining Conference (BMC) is an investor event launched in 2018 to provide investors, brokers and fund managers with a better understanding of current investment opportunities in Australia's mining, energy and exploration sectors.
Showcasing a mix of ASX listed micro to mid market cap minerals and energy companies, Brisbane Mining allows senior mining executives to connect with investors and sell their company's investment credentials via a formal exhibition and presentation program.
Brisbane Mining is now on track to becoming another of the ‘must attend’ and mutually beneficial investor events on the circuit.
The Conference is hosted at Brisbane's Royal on the Park Hotel and will run next in March, 2026.
All presentations are live streamed, recorded and made available to watch after the event.
